Audio from The City Real & Imagined at the ICA

PennSound Daily posted the audio from The City Real & Imagined book launch at the Philadelphia Institute of Contemporary Art. I forgot about the cellphone music in the very beginning, but somehow it works with the piece as an impromptu introduction.

For your listening pleasure... click here.

You can also read Rachel Blau DuPlessis' proper introduction for the event here.

Feast Day Gone & Coming

My new chapbook entitled Feast Day Gone & Coming is now available from Cy Gist Press.

From editor Mark Lamoureux:

"In his second chapbook for Cy Gist Press, Feast Day Gone & Coming, Frank Sherlock gives us a map of the heavens as revolutionary love song, replacing Andromeda & Orion with you & me. It may cost us dearly to be humanized, but Sherlock’s work is what we get for our trouble. With beautiful cover comix by James Comey."

Check it out here.

I'm happy to be included in the new online cooperative anthology of U.S. contemporary poets- Elective Affinities edited by Carlos Soto Roman. The inclusion process is viral and ongoing, and I like that idea. There are also Elective Affinities anthologies for Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Spain, Uruguay and Venezuela. Check out the links on the right side of the site.
